Early Years

We have a Kindergarten (Kinder) class for children who are aged four by 31st December the previous year: these students begin aged four and turn five during their Kinder year. Kinder Possums attend Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays with Andrea.

For pre-school children aged Birth – 4, we run a Launching into Learning (LiL) program each week in our Kindergarten classroom with Katy. These free sessions allow parents and their children to work together with our educators to get to know our school, and to explore the world together through play and fun, guided activities.

Our Launching into Learning sessions are held every Wednesdays between 9.00 am and 10.30am. You and your child are welcome to spend time in the Kinder room playing, reading, painting, cooking, singing, dancing, talking, creating and building. Our mornings are filled with children, parents, grandparents and carers playing and learning together. Sometimes we welcome a visiting expert in dance or music and when its fine we love to go into the nearby bush Reserve for walking, climbing, building and relaxing! Everyone with children aged from birth to four years of age is welcome to our mornings where we Wait, Watch and Wonder about children’s learning through play.

We also run Pre-Kinder sessions towards the end of each year, to support children who will be attending our Kinder the following year.
