Japanese

At Waimea, we offer a Japanese language and cultural program from grades one to six.  In our weekly 40-minute lesson we sing, play games and participate in activities to communicate simple information in Japanese and to learn about the diverse culture of Japan.  We believe learning another language develops intercultural understanding and skills to live in an increasingly culturally and linguistically diverse world.
