Mathematics

At Waimea we believe that Mathematics should be a balance of teaching skills and concepts, providing opportunities to apply skills to problem-solving situations, and opportunities to explore Mathematics in our world at large. We provide students with opportunities to collaborate, challenge and extend themselves in such activities as Gifted Online courses, The Maths Challenge for Young Australians (Year 3-6), the Maths Relays (Year 3-6), and the Maths Walk (Years 1-2).
