Students in our school have specialist teaching in the areas of Physical Education (PE), Music, Digital Technologies, Drama (Prep – 6) and Japanese (Years 1 – 6). The Whitaker Library is a thriving resource centre with an amazing selection of books available. It is open every lunch time and all classes have a regular library time with their teacher every week.
- Kinder and Prep can borrow 1 book at a time,
- Grades 1-4 can borrow 2 at a time,
- Grades 5-6 can borrow 3 books at a time.
It’s an innovative library, most novels are organised by genre. We have a Senior Fiction collection, and a Junior Non-Fiction collection as well as general non-fiction, fiction, and picture books.
