Our pathway schools

Waimea Heights has a close relationship with our close neighbour Sandy Bay Infant School (SBI), which has students from Kinder – Year 2. SBI students have a guaranteed pathway from SBI to Waimea in Year 3 and we work closely together to ensure a variety of approaches and transition activities that support the change for these students. We also hold many joint school activities that support students in both schools to feel comfortable with each other.

Waimea Heights is a feeder primary school for Taroona High School (THS): our students have a guaranteed pathway to THS for high school in Year 7. Again, we run many joint activities that help our Year 6 students transition to high school at THS.
