Physical Education

Year 3-6 students at Waimea take part in carnivals for Athletics (Term 1), Cross Country (Term 2) and Swimming (Term 3). Our interschool teams are chosen from these carnivals. Please see our school calendar for dates.

Year 3-6 students also can take part in the Schools Triathlon (Swim, Ride and Run) in Term 4.

Our Prep-2 students take part in our Early Childhood Athletics Carnival (late Term 1), Cross Country carnival (Term 2) and a fun mini sports event with Sandy Bay Infant School (Term 4).
