Science

Science is taught from Prep – Year 6, using the Australian Curriculum. Science learning at Waimea aims to develop students’ interest in science as a way of expanding their curiosity, asking questions and finding out about the changing world in which they live. Students learn about the use of science to solve questions and problems, as well as how to become inquiring scientists in the areas of biological, chemical, physical and earth/space sciences.
